The Top Dog of the IT Industry

specialization. It's an interesting
field that I want to pursue, yet I’m not really knowledgeable about the basics
of technology. It’s also true that it can be learned, but I don’t think this
will ignite my passion and skills in life. In contrast, I was a fan of breaking
a firewall created to safeguard significant information about a certain thing.
I watched
numerous dramas in which the job of the leads was related to IT. A drama called Mad Dog was one of my favorites, and I greatly admired the one who was behind their success—a certain guy behind the computer, maneuvering their operations.

In relation to career opportunities in the IT industry, if I
were given a chance to pursue one, provided that I had enough commitment and
passion to do so, I would try to enter the world of system development. The
reasons why I decided to take this path are because, first, our country is
becoming a little worse now than before; it has been a rough road to keep up
with the crimes and corruption here and there; second, COVID-19 is still
circulating in our country, and we are still unsure on when it will be
completely gone; and lastly, scammers are everywhere. I encountered a lot of
them, and they're quite good for fraudsters; it's a matter of the right
combination of hoaxes and timing whether they will get something valuable from
you or not. As I mentioned, the Philippines is in a vulnerable state, and we as
citizens should do something about it.
Furthermore, as a system developer, I would like to develop
a system that can detect when danger is approaching. What if, for example, we
wore a bracelet that could predict our actions solely based on our emotions and
current state of mind? I know it sounds impossible, but it's technology, and we
never know what the future holds. There are companies that may have a system
that blocks scammers within their scope, and I'd like to innovate it by adding
a touch, where every time they try to scam a person online, that scammer's
phone will automatically shut down and will be full of viruses.
